How to Organize Grocery Coupons

by admin on October 12, 2010

If you are a coupon clipper, it might be hard to keep all the coupons straight because many are different sizes and they can easily get lost in the mix of all the other ones.  Most people clip out all their coupons from the Sunday paper so they have a stack of them all from one day.  It’s fairly easy to organize your coupons so you can mange them easier.

The easiest thing to do is simply put each coupon in a particular category.  For instance if you have any breakfast coupons for items like cereal, eggs, milk, etc. you can put them all in one pile and then another pile for toiletry items like toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, etc.  With each pile, put a paper clip on each one so they are altogether separated from the other coupons.

Once you have each category of coupons all paper clipped separately, you will then want to put them all in an envelope and then label that envelope like “Coupons (Insert Date Here)”.  That way you will have the date of when you gathered the coupons and then you can simply take that envelope with you to the grocery store.

These tips are simple to implement and they are a lot easier than just simply taking all your cut out coupons with you to the store in your pocket in which many of them can get lost within your money, wallet, or anything else that would be in your pocket or purse.  When shopping throughout the grocery store it will also be easier to indentify what items you have coupons for going done each isle.
